Security Issue When Installing/Updating

description

Users on Windows 8 should experience the windows smart screen security filter kick in when they first try to install the application, and every time the application updates following that. The application will load and run just fine after the first installation and subsequent updates. I just want to take this time to reassure everyone that there is no real security risk to it. The issue is caused by the application assembly not being signed by a digital certificate provided by VeriSign or some other company. This issue may also be present in Windows 7, but I have yet to receive any report of such an event. If you wish, you can, of course, view the Source Code by clicking the SOURCE CODE tab at the top to see what exactly is happening behind the scenes.

UPDATE: Tried again on the signing of the assembly using the AfterCompile target instead of the BeforePublish target. However, my use of ParkSquare's GraceNote API is preventing any assembly signing due to it not having a strong type name. Sorry guys!
